Organic Valerian vs. Tylenol

I purchased and received my herbs yesterday. My best friend and I tried this valerian before bed. The smell is very strong, but you have to understand that not every natural remedy smells the same. So we added some organic honey and ginseng. We were very surprised and delighted with the taste. We only use a small full scoop because I've done my research on this herb and I can trust myself when I say that just a little bit goes a long way. Immediately, our mind and body relaxed completely. I drink this stuff daily. We're slowly seeing improvements!

This was my first order from Frontier and the first time I tried burdock root. I found the packaging exceptional. My herbs arrived unopened, there was no damage. However, I transferred the burdock root to a glass jar because I decided it wouldn't keep in the original packaging (the packaging is not resealable). When I opened the package, I could see that I had received fresh burdock root. He smelled great! When I first tried this substance, I wasn't too happy with the taste. I'm not used to it,

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Safety

I am very disappointed with this product. Twice as I used to love Frontier products. This is the type of review that asks for a ZERO or negative star rating. Whatever's in this bag isn't tea, and if it ever was tea, it's from the bottom of an old cask that's been sifted across the sands of time. It was such a fine powder that it escaped even my best tea filters, leaving behind a powdery lime liquid that was impossible to drink. Pieces of "tea" or whatever got into the teeth, cheeks and throatโ€ฆ

Nourishing for the kidneys

All of these tea reviews are jumbled up so you all know - I'm on the valerian side but I bought burdock root tea. Burdock doesn't have a particularly pleasant smell or taste, but it's definitely good for you. Being a root, it is particularly good as a brew when cooked on the stove. Burdock also detoxifies and cleanses and nourishes your kidneys. It is packed with nutrients and can be helpful when used in herbal tonics. As always, I'm disappointed in Frontier's cheap leaky Mylar bags. Howeverโ€ฆ

Rant Warning: Nice and smooth hope it works

I have done extensive research on hormone balancing herbs for women my age having just had an IUD removed after 7 years and have a hormonal one in 6 months Imbalance felt after distance. Most sources suggested burdock root for menopausal women, but I'm in my 30s, so yeah, I haven't gone through menopause yet. But I wanted to reboot my body after so many years of artificial hormones. I also have occasional hormonal acne which is VERY crappy considering my age. I can't be nice with planets on myโ€ฆ
