Use it for its intended purpose. It is used to remove and keep clean the "garbage" accumulated in the sewers. This is not a drain cleaning tool. I used to buy a similar product locally but now I have to go online as it is out of stock. Use it for what it is and it's excellent.

Trying to clean the overflow holes in the sink. These are ceramic sinks with a small opening in the front of the sink (not under the faucet). It's too big to fit in. I can see where sending it down the drain would help, but not the overflow. darn.

I used this product to remove the black dirt that forms inside the sink pipe. The stuff isn't clogged, but it smells bad. The product is long enough and strong enough to clean up to, through and even beyond the J-trap. It mechanically removes all contaminants in a way that chemicals cannot. To get it through the siphon you may have to turn the tool clockwise while guiding it down.

I bought this to clean a PVC drain pipe for an air conditioner. While the main body is very flexible and withstands 90 degree turns on 1/2" in PVC pipes, the first 1.5-2" which contains the brush part is very rigid and cannot twist in 1/2" PVC pipes Rotate 90 degrees. If the brush part was flexible this would be a great product.

I like the ease of use of this AC drain line cleaning tool. I have always used the recommended solution, vinegar and tablets for my air conditioner. I didn't know the line was getting rougher anyway. Unfortunately I am writing this review after having high hopes for this product. My bathroom drain was clogged and after reading countless reviews of different hair clog removers I decided to give this product a try. When it arrived I was pleased with the quality as it was well made. Unfortunately, that's where my satisfaction ended. My dishwasher was spewing water out of the sink air gap which caused a secondary problem as water was leaking through the air gap meter hole to the bottom of my sink.
