🍳 Frywall 10 (Medium) - Red - Splatter Guard, Featured on Shark Tank Review

Tonight I used the Frywall10 to fry flounder fillets for the first time. Went like clockwork. I was surprised by the amount of oil that accumulated on the frywall. This is grease that would normally end up on the stovetop, counter, and wall. It fits perfectly in my 10.5" All Clad pan, which means it should work in All Clad pots as well since the lids are exactly the same. I hand washed it and let it dry on the open door of the dishwasher.

It's expensive and weird and doesn't catch all the splatters. Think the old-school screen might be more catching, but then when you lift the screen to check or flip what you're cooking you get splashes, so it's inevitable that you can control and just flip what you're cooking Cook. Boil and allows moisture to escape easily, so two thumbs up, also easy to clean.

This is my second frywall, the first was one of the originals! I really liked it and since I have a new tiny kitchen with a new tiny stove, I use a smaller pan, I needed a smaller frywall! I love this product! No more stovetop spatter (which is good on a glossy black stovetop), just pop it anywhere in the dishwasher. I live in a place that doesn't allow grilling at least ⅓ of the year, so I'm limited on fried burgers, chops, etc. because I don't want to "clean up," but that's not a problem now.

When I first bought it I had a 9 and 7/8 inch skillet, they said it would still work up to that size. So make sure you get a pan that fits properly. I got a 10" pan from my son for Christmas, the distance from the inside edge to the opposite side is 10 1/8" in diameter. The buckle is very stable not like it used to be. I originally bought my first one in January 2017 to use in my RV where splatter is very difficult to clean off. The 10" I bought at the time was too big and either wrinkled at the bottom or sat too close to the rim of my aluminum Calphalon pans. Don't get me wrong, it still minimized spatter, but not as well. as I had hoped. I reported this to designer Yair Reiner, who indicated that he would be releasing improvements soon. And sure enough, about a month ago, a new one showed up in my mailbox…
