These were advertised as compatible with the 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis. If they are not, hence 4 stars. The good news is they worked great on my son's 1998 f150.

I think it's a quality product but I'll have to see it after it's been out for a while and I'll keep an eye on it. I paid extra for the tool, I need to buy it for peace of mind.

for 4.6L Ford Lincoln/Mercury pivot caps are completely different. these do not fit. Waited 3 weeks only to find the part didn't fit. The seller must take note of this and not mislead people.

The o-rings work but they have a slightly smaller ring body diameter than the ones that came out (maybe they swell with fuel and heat?). My injectors didn't need a gasket or needle cap so I had to double check to make sure it was the right kit.

Never attempt to reuse fuel injector o-rings. You take the kit after it has been installed in your cylinder heads. Leaking fuel can cause fire and death in your vehicle. Carrying a fire extinguisher is no guarantee that the injection equipment will not be replaced. This is OPTIONAL and cheap natural catastrophe insurance.

This kit is great for a full injector service on my 00 F150 4.6L. Vaseline or a similar lubricant can be used to install the o-ring onto the lip on the inlet side of the nozzle. To pull out the old screens, use a flat socket to push them onto the plastic base of the air intake and a screw if you don't have a tool. To remove the old cap, cut it apart with a razor blade or knife and wear safety glasses because if the cap is brittle it may break.

I bought this kit to clean and reassemble my injectors whilst disassembling the top of the engine to replace the intake manifold. The parts were of good quality and as described. The filter removal tool worked like a champ. It made removal a single click away. While I had no noticeable problems with the injectors before removing them, it was obvious the filters needed replacing. I recommend this kit to anyone who needs to rebuild/repair their EV-1 injectors. I used this kit on a 2001 Ford F-150

Such an EASY REPAIR and this injector repair kit will save you hundreds of dollars. The set I purchased was of the highest quality, same as OEM or better. Spring.
