The hype is real. fits mirrorless cameras

Fuji always ignored reviews and hype as the hype had all the hallmarks of wild fanaticism. Bought XE3 to test the waters. Now my a6300 is on eBay. Ergonomics is nothing short of an epiphany. JPEG is as good as they say. I shoot in RAW (primarily real estate) and dynamic range, highlight preservation and precise white balance save me HOURS in post. I also shoot portraits and lifestyle. I like 35mm 1.4. The 18-55 kit is the finest piece of mass-market consumer engineering in camera history. I…

Works great in a short time. Update: The new camera is excellent.

For a short time this camera was very, very good (with 23mm f/2 lens included). The images were sharp and well exposed. The ergonomics of the camera are excellent, all controls are conveniently located. JPEG off camera is excellent. This is a pocket version of the X-TPro2 as it doesn't have an optical viewfinder, but the reduction in size and lack of an optical viewfinder doesn't seem to make this camera any less flexible and user-friendly. Unfortunately, the camera had a serious fault as the…

Just understand.

This is Fujifilm's most advanced APS-C camera at the time of writing this review. Of course, the X-T2 and X-Pro2 have some professional features that are not present here (weather protection, dual card slots, etc.). I also have X-T2 and X100F. It's a shame that I only managed to do it with the X100F. In fact, this is a slightly more compact chassis than the X100F. Add an XF27mm lens and you have a great outdoor machine with the same convenience in your pocket. But you're not tied to just one…

Good reliable camera and still camera

This would be a likely 5 star purchase except it has a lot more than I need and the learning curve seems tough. My favorite camera of all time was the Leica M2 with an Elmarit 28mm f:2.8 lens. It was film and this is digital. Fuji corresponds to the characteristics of Leica, is more modern and easier to use. So far I have disabled Bluetooth and WiFi. It's not needed, but it's there. The photos are clear and the camera is responsive. BUT, every time I put my fingers on the LCD screen, the…

Amazing compact camera

I really like this camera, although there are a few small details that I think could be improved. I still give it five stars considering how picky the possible upgrades are. List of strengths and areas for improvement: + Autofocus is very fast and reliable. I've heard some criticism regarding the low light performance but I think it still compares very well to other cameras I've used. Fuji with film simulation and easy access to JPG settings with the Q key makes photography MUCH more…

I miss IBIS and the full articulating screen terribly.

Excellent camera. I especially like the JPGs captured by the camera. I shoot in both JPG and RAW with every camera I own, but this is the first camera I've been completely happy with when posting OOC JPG images. The appearance of the rangefinder is pleasing. I looked at it in comparison to the XT-2. Looking back, I regret a bit that I didn't buy the XT-2. I chose this one because of the Bluetooth, the touchscreen, and other perceived improvements. So why do I regret it? A few things: 1) Another
