Cool product, happy with the purchase, maybe Ill buy it again.

This is my first telephoto, and in general, the experience of filming is still small. But I can compare with other Fuji lenses: with a classic whale zoom 18-55 2,8-4 and with a fix 35 2.0. Sharpness, of course, loses to both. Doesn't ring. But the question of what is considered sufficient sharpness - everyone has their own requirements in this regard. I have enough of this. The lens is plastic, but doesn't feel cheap either in appearance or feel. As for aperture - yes, sometimes it is not…

    Pros
    • - the weight - color rendition - real stabilization (it is set, like the aperture, through the camera menu). - long-range: the maximum zoom in the line of all Fuji lenses, except for the XF 100-400mm f / 4.5-5.6 (teleconverters for 2 professional models are a separate conversation)
    Cons
    • - sharpness - luminosity - leakage, lack of dust and moisture protection

Everything about the purchase suits me, a very necessary product.

The toy is excellent, for such a price it is difficult to perceive it differently, but it gives a picture, and what else is needed. Pixel-drochers and very picky people who do not know how to build a composition, when all the objects are clear, most likely will not like it) But I advise you) Televisions, of course, are a one-time thing, they are most often stored in a closet and warm only by their presence, because of their weight they are used extremely rarely. and you can always take this)

    Pros
    • Cool glass from fuji, cheaper than the nearest good analogue 100-400 by ~ 120 thousand, but there bokeh can be a little better, but damn it is 120 pieces) Sharp, even surprisingly decently sharp, completely plastic, but light 300g instead of 1500g) and the size is small in the folded state) Control everything from the camera (I have Xt-3), get used to it for five seconds, stabilization allows you to shoot video by 230 mm (equivalent to 345mm) (of course, if you can do it), the focus follows the object on the video well, yes and generally smart (hello to televisions for a hundred))
    Cons
    • If you drop it, then most likely goodbye) The front lens protection cover constantly flies off, pisses me off.

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good one.

Over the past year, the XC 50-230mm has been my go-to lens. In the autumn I bought an older brother 50-140. If we compare these glasses in terms of image sharpness, then 50-230 is not much inferior to the top model. The main thing is to get into focus and not smear the object with a stir. There may be problems with this, because. even during the day, my most popular shutter speeds were 1/125 and 1/250. Still, the lens is "dark". The stub on the long end helps out a lot, but if the object moves…

    Pros
    • Weight, focal length range, image quality, stabilization
    Cons
    • Forget about short exposures at low iso

I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.

There are a lot of them on the secondary market, you can buy inexpensively and then also sell if it doesn’t come in. Pros below: A light, small and cheap telephoto for those who need a light, small telephoto or need to inexpensively understand whether a telephoto is needed at all. I realized that I needed a telephoto, I wanted to buy an expensive 50-140 2.8, but it is huge and weighs a kilogram, so I left this one. Dimensions and weight allow you to take it with you almost everywhere and even…

Itcommes with a hood, which is very nice. I was also pleasantly surprised that the filter thread diameter is the same as my kit XC16-50mmF3.5-5.6 OIS II. Below are two frames without any processing, commparing the XC16-50mmF3.5-5.6 OIS II kit lens with the XC50-230mm f/4.5-6.7 OIS Opening the package + zoom test:

    Pros
    • This is my first telephoto and I am completely satisfied with it.
    Cons
    • I have not yet used it at dusk or at night, I think it will not be easy. My whale lens is XC16-50mmF3.5-5.6 OIS II and for a couple of years already several grains of sand have been sucked inside. Here I think it will be the same, but in fact it is not critical, because Photoshop works wonders.

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

I bought it as a telephoto lens in addition to the kit lens 18-55 / 2.8-4 for Fujifilm X-E2. It was necessary to shoot the tops of the trees. This lens allows you to get a picture, as if I were shooting close young growth, and not forty-year-old tall trees. Requires a very firm hand, otherwise shake, ideally - shoot from a tripod. It showed itself very well when shooting various events from a tripod. Given the non-everyday use of the lens, I am satisfied. The zoom is fully manual (mechanical)…

    Pros
    • Excellent quality optics, fast focusing, relatively light, pleasant to the touch. Allows you to get a clear picture of very distant objects, and also helps a lot when shooting concerts or other events, but from a tripod. Almost does not glare in the light directed at it.
    Cons
    • In not very strong lighting, it requires longer shutter speeds than whale 18-55, so you can get blurry pictures on the machine. If you switch to manual shutter speed and aperture and with a secure fixation, the pictures are clear. It focuses slower and louder than the whale 18-55, autofocus does not always grab what you want, but if you try a little, it turns out well. The zoom ring is covered with rubber, which from time to time becomes hard and gray, which is not very pleasing - it will suddenly begin to crumble. Due to the lack of an aperture ring, it requires installing a new firmware on the camera, which is not difficult to do using the official website, but it is slightly annoying. The lack of new firmware for this lens is somewhat upsetting (although maybe they haven’t found any problems that should be fixed with firmware yet)))

Good value for money, I recommend it.

In general, the lens was a pleasant surprise. From an optical point of view, it is practically not inferior to the expensive and heavy older brother XF 55-200. Sufficiently sharp, holds backlight well, moderate aberrations. The body is completely plastic, including the mount, but the plastic is good. On the one hand, this does not contribute to reliability, but on the other hand, it allows it to be really easy. The assembly is Chinese. Despite this, the quality is slightly higher than analogues

    Pros
    • Light weight The picture is not worse than the XF 55-200 The design is better than analogues for mirror systems
    Cons
    • Lack of controls Drives a lot of air to the matrix

Not a bad product, but you can do better.

Impressions are twofold. On the one hand, this is the only ultra-budget telephoto in Fuji Park. Good opportunities for use as a macro. The stub is quite powerful and normally works out the stir on the limiting FR. As a traveling and vacation portraiture, it is also suitable. On the other hand, in pursuit of cheaper prices, the developers have deprived the lens of everything that could be deprived without a critical loss of user properties. Sold after one session of use, somewhere in a couple…

    Pros
    • 1. Cheap. 2. Lightweight. 3. Equivalent to 70-300 on FF. 4. Convenient hood-shifter.
    Cons
    • 1. No external controls. It is clear that this is a consequence of cheaper prices, but at least the stub rail could be taken out. 2. Dark. During the day, it's forgivable, but in limited lighting you have to forcely increase the ISO or conjure with shutter speed. 3. A 24 MP matrix after 1502022220 mm ceases to resolve normally, grain immediately climbs, detail is lost, especially on colorful backgrounds - autumn forest, foliage, grassy slopes, etc. The same picture was observed in Canon 18-135. 18 megapixels covered normally over the entire FR range, 24 by 90+ no longer pulled out.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

An ideal product for any type of consumer.

There is a mistake in the specifications here. The zoom ratio is not 4.6x. The actual zoom ratio is from 3.1x to 14.5x. I took excellent shots in the evening in the dark at maximum zoom handheld in the cold. In my opinion, the weight of 375 grams for such sizes is not much. At maximum zoom, its length is ~18 cm. The lid sits tight. The total length of the hood is 64 mm. The shape is a small cone, almost a cylinder. With the hood on, the cover can be removed without problems.

    Pros
    • Excellent juicy shots, no distortion without your desire, frost -12 degrees does not affect the speed and quality of focusing. Blend included.
    Cons
    • Didn't notice.

A wonderful product, it's nice to use.

I bought it on x-t10, it’s difficult without a telephoto, there is no money for an expensive option. On Nikon he worked with Tamron and Sigma 70-300. This one is way better. Sharp, pleasantly blurs the background, sharp focus, does not creep back and forth. Indoors it is more difficult, a bit dark, you need to use a flash. And for street reporting is very good.

    Pros
    • Sharpness, bokeh, fast focus
    Cons
    • Aperture 6.7 at the long end

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

About sharpness: 50 at open f4.5 is much sharper than 16-50 at f8-9. At f9-10, I did my favorite pentax 50 1.4 on similar focal lengths, which is also better than 16-50. Despite the fact that 16-50 is better than all analogues from kenon and nikon. Stabilization: identical to the one at 16-50 and the stub allows you to shoot at 1/15, 1/30 with some accuracy. What saves, because without a matrix stub it is really possible to get a frame without movement only by 1/100. I use it as the main lens…

    Pros
    • Light weight, amazing stabilization, sharpness.
    Cons
    • When zooming, it blows, it will probably drive dust onto the matrix.

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product did not disappoint, the quality pleases.

The Fujifilm XC 50-230mm F4.5-6.7 OIS is a good addition to 18-55mm and 16-50mm lenses, giving good telephoto performance at a relatively small weight and size. Sharp at the edges and in the center already at F4.5 - F6.7, but with focal lengths from 135mm, optimal sharpness cannot be achieved up to F11. The background is easily blurred and the 7-blade diaphragm forms the background (bokeh) quite nicely. There is practically no vignetting, chromatic aberrations are present, but they are easily

    Pros
    • metal structure Characteristics of a completely non-whale lens Versatility. Suitable for a wide range of photo tasks Relatively low price High quality shooting Fast and accurate focusing sharp picture
    Cons
    • Build quality and design
