Lens feels good, looks good and the photos you take with it have it also this unmistakable look Fuji. until you zoom in. This is a good entry-level lens - I think it's much better quality than the kit lens that comes with an entry-level Canon DSLR. The build quality is fantastic and the image quality is at least as high, if not better, than other lenses. Lower apertures compared to other kit lenses is one of the key benefits. Possibly the best 'whale lens' in the world

I bought the X-E2 with an XC16-50mm lens, both used as test/trial lenses. Gradually, my Nikon+ lenses became less and less used and eventually sold. In the meantime I've bought a couple of Fuji Prime lenses. Then I had to buy X-PRO-2.
