Should fit and fits winch spool

Originally bought 25ft but did not fit winch as it was too long. Bought this 20ft and it fits great. It didn't feel as heavy as the one I replaced, but the old one had frayed ends and I have no idea its age. Feel more comfortable while towing your boat.

Lots of tough conditions for 20-25 foot pleasure/fishing boats

Lots of tough conditions for 20-25 foot pleasure/fishing boats. Works as intended. I just want the hook to be stainless steel; remember! 10,000# rating is ULTRA load strength; but 2500# (for overhead) - 4000# for direct pull) is a SAFE WORKLOAD. MUCH more than you need for a 20-25 foot boat.

I thought this strap would work just fine. But after 1 year of use

At first I thought this tape would work fine. But after 1 year of use the strap material started to dry out and become brittle (probably from UV) - I reckon it will break at any moment. So now I'm looking for a replacement. My boat is in the garage, but the trailer sits in the sun every weekend from Memorial Day through Labor Day. I would not recommend this strap.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Almost never

Seems too slippery for external accessories

This material is so slippery that it is pulled harder and harder. The boat doesn't move, the tape is getting tighter and tighter on the pulley and has actually bent the restraining pin. Pretty odd considering the boat is already on the trailer and only 10 inches from the reel so the 20ft wrap strap just pulls tighter instead of tugging at the boat? It transfers all the load to that little bolt. Doesn't seem right.

That's a great strap!

Great strap!. I have a Proline 32 Express that I built a McClain trailer for. It's probably on top of the boat being towed. When pulling up the ramp, the seam on the belt broke. Luckily it was at the top of the ramp and we made it to a flat parking lot. The factory seam for the end of the hook was very small. That's 10 times more than the hook holds. Buy this! I'm glad my boat didn't end up on the bottom, it's very heavy and I think it would break the safety chain link from the trailer if it…

Fits Fulton T2625 winch (older model needs slight modification)

Good belt - the label clearly states a 4000lb working load with a 10,000lb breaking strength. I bought it to replace a winch rope with a strap. The newer Fulton T2625 winch comes with a cable or strap option. However, the older model I had didn't have the option to attach a strap. A simple solution is to drill two 3/8" holes on the winch 1/8" from the center shaft. Insert the stainless steel screw into the first hole, place the strap loop over the screw, and then pull the screw out of the…

Great replacement belt for my EZ Loader boat trailer

I purchased this belt to replace the Fulton belt on my 24" EZ Loader boat trailer. Unlike some other straps, a spare strap is not included. Bolt, I got a bolt from my local hardware store that was a better quality than the original curved bolt from the old belt. There seems to be some confusion over some of the comments on portability. Loads (4,000 lbs), both values of course. Don't count if your winch rating is below these two values. the strength you need.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Communication with seller

This is a quality, durable bracelet to replace a broken thin bracelet. The only problem is that it would be perfect if it was two feet shorter. The strap is thick enough to over-crowd the spool on the winch. Even after plugging in and spinning, it's still full. The problem I had was the belt catching on the bolt heads that attach the winch to the trailer and therefore breaking the new belt. If you can replace the bolts that hold your winch to your trailer with a bottom bracket bolt head so they
