If I could give zero stars I would be very upset. I paid almost $30 for it and it's just plywood. It broke the same day I received it and I had to throw it away because of all the little wood shavings that fell off. Keeping my 4 and 7 year old was too dangerous to give back. The instructions were well written and easy to follow, so it only took about 20 minutes to assemble each bookshelf (I bought 2). Once assembled, each bookshelf looked great. Well I guess you get what you pay for. This device has some nuances. I'm not a fan of chipboard and I'm not a fan of fastening the backs of bookshelves. I'd rather scoot my back to the bookshelf. You have to be very careful when inserting the nails into the backing or you will punch holes in the board. :( The back is literally chipboard glued together; really?!
