Quality control issues

When the food is good, it's the best food on the market. This is one of the few brands my cat eats. There have been quality control issues for the last month. The food was bland and greyish. It looks like he suffered from the heat. I tried to contact the company via email but they didn't answer me. The photo shows the difference between the two banks.

The recipe has been changed - now none of the cats eat the rot

This recipe has proven itself in recent years and justified the premium class. But in the last few months or so, the manufacturer has changed the formula. Now it's a soupy, smelly mush. The high quality fibers of the white meat are gone, instead there are pieces that look more like offal and offal. And above all, in my opinion, all 6 cats will not touch this food again.

Something has changed

We have been feeding our cat since she was a kitten. She always loved it. This new box arrived earlier this month and she won't touch it. I've opened several cans - to no avail. She likes another brand I bought her, so I'm guessing there's a new ingredient here that she doesn't like. Dissatisfied. I felt really happy with this brand. Hopefully the dry food hasn't changed either.

  • Perfect for outdoor activities

Used to be good: Moist

My cat loved this tin but this batch just isn't as good as the previous ones. There is significantly more water in the glass, it also appears that there is a white oily substance floating on the surface which was absent in the previous batches I have purchased. My cat noticed the difference too, she wasn't as keen on this food as before. I don't know if Fussie is changing their nutritional formula or if Revain isn't good enough with quality control.

Solves our stomach problems!

My cat had problems with the previous food (Natural Balance with salmon flavor) and had constant diarrhea. In fact, we started Natural Balance because the first time we took it (aged 10 weeks) it had positive reviews and it ALWAYS had diarrhea. It was terrible. I went to our local pet store (not a big chain store) and told them about our situation. The knowledgeable owner was surprised that our boy had problems with Natural Balance but recommended this product. This has completely changed our…

Cats loved this taste!

My cats generally love Fussie Cat and I subscribe to save money (about $3-4 per pack based on 4 packs per month). So I am changing tastes as cats are finicky and change their minds quite often! Most Fussie Cat flavors come in bread or pie form, which can be a chore to get out of the jar early in the morning when you're tired and 'fussy'! :-) Not this one - it's rubbed with little pieces of sweet potato and it's the first thing my big girl pushed the little girl away for! I let her eat my…

QUALITY FOOD BUT A LITTLE EXPENSIVE.

In addition to private cats, we also feed this food to adopted cats. I love that it's carrageenan-free and claims to be made in a factory meant for humans (where the food is balanced for a cat's diet, but has to meet certain standards). This food is more versatile for many cats. I have an adopted kitten with a picky stomach (seen by the vet for this) and other products such as limited ingredient diets have not helped. When I switched her to this food, the vomiting subsided greatly and the…

I buy it because of its low ash content, but 2 cats eat it at times

I have 2 cats that insist on this canned food. They love gravy, but will eat carrots, peas (the previous cat used frozen peas for kitchen football), and potato chunks. Cats are carnivores and cannot be made vegan. However, the food is low in ash, and for a boy who has had two different types of bladder stones, this is important. However, the cubs sometimes eat sparingly (thus the food is wasted) and steal food from the chicken and beef foie gras which the two cats prefer. Not sure if it's due…

Worth the price for the whole case!

I've never seen this cat food in stores but it got so many good reviews on Revain that I bought a whole box. (I have a cat that eats anything, so I figured I could feed her if none of the others like it.) I'm lucky because ALL my cats love it, including 2 who don't want to eat much. / most other wet food. You can see real pieces of chicken in it and recognize small pieces of vegetables. I don't entirely agree with feeding cats veggies, but it makes up such a small fraction of the total contents
