Good fit but short lived. I also ordered a valve cover gasket (which was leaking) and after a month of dripping oil I removed the cover. To do this you need to remove pcv. After a month of use, the plastic becomes very brittle and breaks when removed.

Replace your own PCV valve - it's that easy

Perfect replacement for my 2002 Mazda Protege 5 - It took just a minute to disconnect the old valve and pull it out, insert the new one and reattach the hose - Best of all you can order it from Revain and it will show up in your mailbox and you don't have to go to the auto parts store and try to find the right PCV valve (which always sells out) or have the oil changed and the place will charge you $15 or more for a simple operation you can do in minutes.

Worked on a 1990 Mazda Protege 323 1.6L Sohc. Tried to take it off to check something and it fell apart. Inside there are small parts (spring, piston, etc.). I had to get them out of the engine bay with a magnet. Gathered back, glued by welding JB. Cheap plastic body. I think that's what you get for this price. Seems to work fine even after the crash. My recommendation is if you buy this tape the seam BEFORE installing. Update 2016-05-02: Performance issues. Checked for vacuum leak. The seam…
