Description of 🐠 FZONE DC CO2 Solenoid Valve: Ideal Magnetic Valve for Easy-to-Install Aquarium CO2 System Regulator and Optimal Water Plant Growth in Fish Tanks

UPGRATED 12V DC VERSION. 12V DC powr input, Safer than AC input. Never buzzing noise( AC model long time using maybe have buzzing noise). Lower power consumption, lower Low temperature, no heating. AUTO DOSING CO2 AT THE RIGHT TIME. Keeping your aquatic plants healthy doesn't have to cost a fortune thanks to this CO2 magnetic solenoid valve which wires into your aquarium's lighting system and cuts the CO2 supply at night when your plants don't need it. STANDARD CO2 6mm TUBING FIT. Fit for the 6mm pipe (inner diameter 4mm and outer diameter 6mm). Nuts locking design for CO2 pipe connection, anti-shedding and good sealing. No leaking. GREAT PARTNER FOR AQUATIC CO2 SYSTEM. It can be used for DIY aquatic CO2 system, and also can be used in CO2 tank system. ATTENTION!!! Don't connect this solenoid to high pressure CO2 tank directly. it should be installed after the regulator, or used on DIY CO2 System. The design working pressure less than 120psi.

CO2 solenoid valve for CO2 do-it-yourself systems.

I bought two such magnets from myself for two planted tanks. Both work perfectly. They get a little warm, but this is normal for the function of the valve (solenoid), they can still be touched with bare hands. My recommendation: Place it at least 12 inches above the homemade CO2 valve so the baking soda and citric acid mixture doesn't reach the valve lest it fail due to the hardened mixture inside the valve.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Works well Make sure you check the input/output

This works exactly how I need it, it plugs into a smart socket and turns on/off the baking soda/citric acid CO2, when i need it I see a lot of feedback that the valve is leaking. I experienced the same thing, but then I realized that my input/output is the opposite. It is not labeled and CO2 pressure can cause the valve to open if misadjusted. You want the gas pressure to open the valve, not close it. If you have a slight leak when it's off, try flipping the inlet/outlet!

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Unusable features

Works but the valve doesn't stop the flow

I wanted to use it in combination with a timer output to control my homemade CO2 system in my aquarium. (citric acid and baking soda). Unfortunately, when the power went out, it only slowed the flow enough to be noticeable. After unplugging it to see if I could fix the issues, I realized I could actually blow air through it with my mouth while it was closed. (btw, don't do that with a good one, you introduce moisture) I thought about returning it but it was cheap and I'm lazy. Eventually I…

Pros
  • Absolutely brilliant!
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Only works for DIY system

If you want this to work with your pressurized CO2 system like the Fluval 45G you will need to buy a real regulator and adapters which cost around $50-100. The reason this solenoid is not working is because neither the regulator that comes with the Fluval CO2 kit nor the solenoid have a pressure relief valve. So technically if you turn the solenoid off overnight, pressure will build up and either rupture the duct. (that's the connection between the regulator and the solenoid) or the solenoid…

Perfect fit for CO2 aquariums

Brought and installed on homemade CO2 for aquariums, literally plug and play, connected to the smart output so 1 hour before the lights turn off 1 hour before lighting and boom can be switched on. People say there are leaks etc. I haven't noticed any and honestly I'm hoping it's very small as I'm using a 2 liter coke bottle with sugar yeast etc and was wondering if I am later woken up by the big bang and there was a mix everywhere. 1st night so time will tell. But having this control for this…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
