Description of 🐠 FZONE Pro Series Aquarium CO2 Regulator with Dual Stage, Adjustable Output Pressure, DC Solenoid, Integrated High Precision Needle Valve, and Bubble Counter

DUAL STAGE CONSTRUCTION & ADJUSTABLE OUTPUT PRESSURE. Dual stage construction provides stable output pressure regardless of how much CO2 gas remains inside the CO2 cylinder, eliminating unpredictable catastrophes such as an end-of-tank-dump (EoTD). The output pressure is adjustable from 0-65 PSI based on customers’ different needs. MODULAR MANIFOLD BLOCK DESIGN. Two manifold blocks are included. Each block comes with its own high-precision needle valve and can be operated independently. You may use one block for one aquarium or use both for two aquariums. SAFETY AND PRECISION IN MIND. Our regulator has a built-in safety valve. It will open automatically to release the pressure when it exceeds 100 PSI. The integrated needle valve is precise. The CO2 output can be adjusted to as low as 1 bubble every 3 seconds. SOLENOID RUNS ON 12V DC INSTEAD OF CONVENTIONAL 120V AC. This regulator adapts to 12V DC, which is more stable and consumes less power. The solenoid is safe to touch and is very quiet. This solenoid is designed to work with an automatic timer. ATTENTION! Suitable for North American CO2 cylinder with CGA320 adapter! Installation tools are included.

Customer service was excellent

Photos show the first controller with scratches and scuffs on several parts. What else was wrong: 1. The solenoid would not stop passing CO2 on deactivation until the operating pressure dropped to zero PSI, 2. the operating pressure would fluctuate 5 PSI up and down. Support was quick to respond via email but only between 9:30pm and 5:30am ET; So it took me a few days to make up my mind. I cleaned the nipple and solenoid as instructed but noticed when the power was shut off the nipple looked…

Error somewhere

I am a bit disappointed with this product. First use was easy to install, easy to use and appears to be very durable. Well 3 weeks into use when my 5lb tank was empty I of course had to put it down to swap an empty for a full one. I brought home a full one and plugged the regulator back in, but now I can get the PSI down to around 25 even with the knob fully open. When I first plugged it in it rose to 35psi with no problem, I think it was only half open at that point. I shut everything down…

Good CO2 regulator for the money!

I don't usually write reviews but thought this product deserved more people to know about it. I had a very expensive CO2 regulator that was starting to leak, so I started looking for new regulators. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the price of this device compared to my current one. For a two-stage regulator, that's a really good deal. I use it for my aquarium plants so it was important that it had a needle valve to control the flow of CO2 and the two stage valve helps avoid problems at…

CO2 PROBLEM SOLVED!

I've been struggling with the "top" regulator for almost a year now, trying to "get it". The controller I am mentioning here is the brand that gets mentioned 9 times out of 10 when someone asks on FB what brand of controller to buy. So the reason for the argument is that it's in my 75 gallon tank and the needle valve of this "peak regulator" is too sensitive at high speeds. I'm pushing CO2 somewhere around 20bps to get 30ppm. I was curious to see how this regulator from FZone would work…

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Crumpled

It looked the same as the Co2 Art regulator so I had high hopes. After a leaking Aquatek I figured if I paid more I wouldn't have a problem. Well, I did a water change shortly after receiving the regulator and found that after over an hour of running the regulator, bubbles were still coming out of the bubble counter. (I fill my 80 gallon aquarium very slowly after a water change so as not to shock my very sensitive German Blue Sheep). Of course I had to close the canister to finally stop the…

Best value for money, again much more expensive options

There are many aquarium regulators out there and they tend to fall into one of two categories: affordable and very expensive. Expensive ones ($400 and up) are usually made by amateurs who really know what they're doing. They use state of the art regulators and needle valves. The needle valves on them alone can cost more than the entire system. These are definitely the best. But in the end do they work better? Not necessarily. This model of FZone does its job effectively. It provides the CO2…

Great option for CO2 injection for a large tank.

I've been an aquarist for decades, but this is the first time I've attempted CO2 injection in a planted aquarium. I have a 55 gallon freshwater tank that is heavily planted and moderately stocked with fish. I have adequate lighting and fertilizer in the aquarium, but I need a carbon source to encourage plant growth. After extensive research into various options, I settled on CO2 injection from a standard 5# CO2 tank, FZONE regulator and ceramic diffuser. I chose the FZONE Pro two-stage…
