93 GMC K1500 on shock absorbers

Drives like a brand new showroom truck. I have a gmk k1500 93g. It took a little banging on the bottoms to mount the brackets, but they are more than worth the money.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Some imperfections

These shocks are a perfect match for my '98 Chevy k1500. Obviously you can't punch those punches with your hands unless you have superhuman strength or are the Hulk. You only have to raise the truck enough for the shock absorbers to fit. The ride is firmer, as you'd expect, but handling is much better.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • I won't say anything

GOOD FOR THE PRICE good for shocks, struts and suspension

So far so good. Put it in my 05 Chevy Blazer Zr2 It was hard to get in because they are about an inch longer than stock but they fit. This raised the rear end about an inch (helps with back sagging). They are stiffer than my stock shocks and handle the extra weight in the trunk well. I haven't pulled anything with these shock absorbers yet. I've had them installed for about 4 months.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Safety

upset. Bad for truck use.

Bought these GABRIEL shock absorbers to replace the current coilovers (one was leaking). Immediately noticed that they were SHORT and the DIAMETER was LESS. Not what you are looking for when using it on a truck. In fact, they looked like we were made for automotive applications. Of course, my truck only weighs 1/2 ton and is rarely used for heavy loads. After installing these INFERIOR coilovers I will do even less. If you are looking for a good high performance shock absorber that will give you

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Value for Money - Shocks, Struts and Suspension

This product does what it promises and more. Here are the things I found. I run 31" dirt on my 93 c1500 (no lift) when it's loaded the platform starts rubbing against my effort. This shock absorber solves that problem. The truck went up about two inches (unloaded). Also, is all suspension much tighter with less body roll cornering is better rides more like a sports car and smaller than a truck good price in all respects it remains to be seen how long it lasts I didn't have one so I lifted the…

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Easy maintainability

GMC C1500 2WD from 1997 to fit shocks, struts and suspension

Rear in and a Maxtrac 2 kit in front lifting springs with M95 monotube Skyjackers. With the above adjustment, they raised the rear by about 0.5 inches and the front wheel by exactly 2 inches. The pickup has a much smoother stance and an amazing ride. These shocks are a bit stiffer, but I tend to haul a lot of heavy loads and trailers on my pickup. If your truck is a street princess that never drags or drags anything over the top, stick with the stock shocks. Tomorrow I need to get some oak…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Noticeable difference!

Installed on the back of my '89 C1500 (2WD). It bounced/floated because the shock absorbers on it had been removed. I was able to easily compress them by hand after taking them off. Needless to say, it didn't ride very well when digging/carrying wood. A few weeks after installation I went to download Maple - the difference between day and night! The back didn't squat nearly as much as it used to when pulling similar weights. The ride was noticeably better both on and off-road. It handles bumps…

  • Brings joy
