This automotive suspension part did not meet our expectations. Based on our own experience, the shock absorber did not provide sufficient cushioning which led to a bumpy ride. Additionally, we experienced a lot of noise from the operation of the product. The only positive aspect of this purchase was its affordable price. Overall, we regret this purchase and do not recommend this product to anyone in need of reliable suspension parts.

Replaced old worn out factory shock absorbers on an 86ft Toyota truck with these Gabriel shock absorbers. Welcome back to the factory. It's like a new truck. Impressed with the ride quality and ride height, improved by about an inch over its predecessor.

These are stars for now, product looks good, fits right, finally got rid of the annoying rattling and banging of old fried shock absorbers. Even if they don't last as long as the $60 shock, I don't care. In my book they were made in Mexico not China etc. Will update in the future, stars up/down as needed. Yes, this product is suitable for 89 Toyota pickup trucks. So 86-95 should use that too.
