Smooth Ride with Gabriel Expedition Struts

These struts are amazing!! As a result of my tests, I determined that my car was driving so smoothly and quietly, I couldn't even believe it. The installation was easy and it gave my car a new, sophisticated look that I'm super happy with. The downside is that they are a bit more expensive than other brands, but it's worth it for the quality you get. Overall, highly recommend for anyone looking for top-notch automotive suspension.

Pros
  • High-quality and durable materials used in production
Cons
  • May experience difficulty in installation without proper tools or experience

A perfect fit on my 1998 F150 4x4

These shock absorbers are a perfect fit on my 1998 F150 Super Cab 3 Door 4x4. My truck is 5/98 and comes with both an off-road package and a tow package (like the current FX4 package). The truck had 146,500 miles and the factory ranch was roasted. I could tell an incredible difference immediately after riding. To be honest, it makes a difference to go from completely worn out shock absorbers to new ones. These shocks have larger "bodies" (tubes) than the factory ranchos and are said to have…

Pros
  • Bracket Type: Vehicle Specific
Cons
  • No Performance

Find something better than this.

My 1999 F-150 short cab 4WD had 135k on the stock shocks so I bought them about 6 months ago. Drove it less than 2000 km and started hearing noises from the front. I checked to see if the lower shock bushing is worn, now it rattles when going through bumps. The shocks are also starting to rust (survived an Ohio winter) and are nowhere near as good as the original ones I removed. These Gabriels also do not withstand hits on large bumps. I have slightly oversized tires (265/75/16) but after the…
