Description of Gaggia Decalcifier Descaler Solution 250ml: Effective 🧪 Solution for Limescale Removal (Pack of 3 Bottles)

The Gaggia decalcifier cleans all the water circuits in your espresso machine. Regular maintenance ensures the best taste and aroma from your Gaggia espresso machine. This special decalcifier protects your appliance from the build-up of limescale which affects performance and taste. The decalcifier removes limescale residues in the water cycle that would absorb heat from the boiler, therefore lowering your coffee temperature. Ideal for use with both semi- and fully- automatic espresso machines.

Use YEARLY or don't use at all!

I haven't descaled my Gaggia Syncrony Logic in 6 years, assuming it's not required for filtered NYC tap water. Although the water flow was decent I finally got around to it. The pump stopped working after a week. Of course, due to excessive limescale, the bottleneck had blocked the steam valve/pipe and had to be repaired. Dear mistake! I'm sure the unit would have lasted a few more years without descaling, although it's less than if it was done regularly.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Functionality

Descale your machine every 3 months or when instructed to do so

Works great High strength item. Works well for descaling internal parts of the machine that you cannot remove for cleaning. People who say one star + it didn't work need a DEEP CLEANING of their espresso machine. Yes, this involves physically disassembling and soaking the parts in cleaner to remove tar, acid, etc. from the brew head and screen. Mine was 1 year old and SUPER DIRTY had to be disassembled and hand cleaned. ( Gaggia Brera . Check out the deep cleaning procedure)

Pros
  • Sleek and modern design
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

Standard descaler for Gaggia Brera.

For routine interior cleaning of the Gaggia Brera espresso machine. I've had mine for many years now and I only run reverse osmosis water through them. Always follow the YouTube video tutorial for this device, DO NOT follow the instructions in the user manual, they don't work at all. Video by Wholattelove. (?). Although my car is noisy, it does its job very well. The cabinet doors vibrate when the machine is running, making it very noisy. I would highly recommend Brera (not sure if they pull it

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Not the best

I have had a Gaggia Synchrony Logic RS for about 4 years. I have always done the necessary care in the manual, but often used a cheaper descaler. Eventually my machine stopped making coffee. Everything else seemed to work. The coffee beans were grinding and you could hear the pump and hot water dispenser working, but no coffee. I contacted Whole Latte Love. They suggested I try to descale it before sending it in for repair. This time I used Gaggia's descaling solution. I have a working coffee…

Convenient, simple and affordable (at least in my opinion)

My washing machine was so full (in just 6 months of use) that it seemed like a waste. But one bottle of it and it was like new. I've seen people complain about the cost, but $16 a year (1 $8 treatment every 6 months) is an absolute penny for a $400-$1,000 car. dollars to wait. An air filter for my air conditioner costs $25 every 6 months. Car oil, $45+ for 5 liters. Fridge water filter $30. So I treat the $8 maintenance fee for my espresso machine as change. Yes, you can get lactic or citric…

My 30 year old Gaggia Baby is working like new again

Great product. My Gaggia Baby espresso machine is 30 years old and I brought it from Italy without knowing that I had to descale the machine. Water was seeping through and upon researching I found out it needed descaling. I followed the directions and poured a bottle of the solution into the reservoir and filled the reservoir with water. Pump started once and nothing. The same thing happened the second time the pump was started. When I turned on the pump for the third time, the water was…

  • Good but not great

Disgustingly expensive but effective solution

This may contain inkjet ink because it's hard to imagine what other ingredient could make a few grams of citric acid and a cup of water so expensive (and it's clear in the instructions that all this bottle is used every 3 months). It also contains a kind of "rust inhibitor", but you must be wondering which rust inhibitor won't interfere with the action of an acidic descaler (or be toxic to humans). The rest is OK. The instructions that came with mine indicated an initial long cycle or two…
