Great coffee, easy to use machine

The Gaggia Anima makes great coffee. Generally easy to use and clean. I am very happy with my purchase. My only complaint is that it stops brewing in the middle of the cup when it detects a low water level, even if there is more than enough water in the reservoir to fill the cup, and after adding water the brew cycle starts from the Beginning instead of just ending the current loop. Despite this small complaint, I can only recommend this device.

Absolutely no guarantee

I bought this car 8 months ago. The water indicator came on, water flowed out, and the machine stopped working. I contacted customer service and they asked what kind of water I use and I told them it's filtered water which I pay extra for every month. I spent over $700 on this machine, it comes with a 2 year warranty and they will not honor it. I will never buy from this company again and I warn EVERYONE to be very careful not to be fooled by the two year warranty which does not exist.

Technology defective

I loved this car. Every morning I looked forward to the most delicious coffee. I went broke and paid over $600 because it got great reviews from Americas Test Kitchen. Fast forward 4 months from the date of purchase the automatic sensor broke. Spent hours on youtube watching videos and fixing the machine to no avail. I ordered another one - yes I loved it so much - immediately SAME PROBLEM Coffee funnel sensor not working (yes I sent it back same day) A quick google search I know this is a…

1.5 years - love this thing!

We've spent more time inspecting the espresso machines than our new home. Anyway, after long flights we decided to do it. It doesn't disappoint. It has been used daily for 1.5 years (or more) and still works. The weekly cleaning does not take long. The machine will prompt you to replace the filter and perform descaling. I descale and lubricate once a month (reminder on the calendar). The only problem is finding suitable oil-free beans (Lavazza Super Crema works great with Amazon). Anything that

Good machine the best of the espresso machines

Have been using this machine daily for several months now. I like that it's easy to clean. I clean the base and used coffee grounds after each use to prevent buildup. I would give it five stars if the steamer was longer like more professional machines. I managed to replace mine with a stick from an old Krupp machine. it was with some skillful cutting and soldering. There doesn't seem to be an easy way to replace it any other way. However, the supplied steam wand works very well and I also like…

Gaggia Anima is an excellent espresso, easy to serve, easy to love!

Just at the height of the pandemic, our two Nespresso coffee machines died. We have never upgraded to newer models and still use 2 D290s. We replaced one with a Creatista Uno machine, which we love. But we've been using Nespresso machines for over 10 years and have seen the cost of capsules go from 50 cents each to almost 80 cents each. Looking at how much we spent on Nespresso capsules in 2019, I decided it was time to start thinking about a super machine. The difference in the cost of coffee…
