Description of Gallon Compostable Trash Bags Pack

BPI Certified Compostable: What’s The Deal With These Certifications? While there are a lot of certifications out there, BPI is the only authority for the USA. We’re proud that our compostable garbage bags are officially recognized by this association. Our individual certification number is 10528980. While there are other certifications that will certify compost bags as “backyard compostable,” they are foreign certifications and have not been tested in North America’s climate. Strong And Sturdy: These biodegradable garbage bags strike the perfect balance of minimalism and strength. The combination of strong bottoms that wont leak and material that will compost quickly makes for the perfect compost bag. The Perfect Fit: Our biodegradable trash bags 13 gallon capacity is made for standard kitchen bins (they are the ones that stand about knee high). Use these for all of your food scraps, and compostable items. They make the perfect biodegradable kitchen trash bags. Rip Resistance: Our eco friendly trash bags do not skimp on quality. Our bags resist tears, and are capable of performing the same duties a traditional plastic trash bag can. No need to double bag our 0.80 thickness bags. They’ll hold up to anything you can throw in them. The Ecotiva Outlook: We’d like to thank you for considering our compostable kitchen trash bags as a purchase. We appreciate you reducing your plastic use, and we sure hope to be part of your journey.

Maybe better for household goods

they stay up. I put the bag in the keg, and when it's 1/4 full, it falls into the keg. It's hard to judge illness and strength when I fill the keg halfway.

Pros
  • household goods
Cons
  • without automatic

Not for kitchen scraps - full of holes

I love the idea with them but I can't use them for kitchen scraps. They leaked (even when I tried to double them) and they ripped when I picked them up when I filled them halfway. I will use them in the bathroom.

Pros
  • Health & Household
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Thin, leaching, easy to tear

Thin, leaching. I started double packing to get rid of them and get another brand. They leave a wet stain on the floor when I take them out of the bin and tie them together. Double wrapping helps with this and also helps hold things in place in case they get torn. What they do. Easy.

Pros
  • Garbage, compost and lawn bags
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something
