They're very tight, but they work.

I have three different types of 5 gallon bottles and they are very tight to begin with. The plastic is a bit thin, especially the tongue, but it works, I haven't noticed any leaks. I found the best way to use them: 1) Lightly hit the bottle with a hammer or the palm of your hand. 2) Peel off the sticker and start peeling off the tongue but stop when there is about 20-25% left. 3) Use a razor to cut off the free part, leaving a molding to work on later (see image). easy to put on; difficult to remove

I have used 1 or 2 other brands of these lids, all obtained from Revain, on my Primo brand 5 gallon water jugs. They were all fairly easy to install and as long as the peeling plastic sheet was in place I had no issues with leaks. They are easy to remove. This particular tag cannot be removed with the built in pull tab without using a knife to rip the plastic around the neck area. The tongue tends to unravel instead of tearing the seam like it should. I haven't had this problem with other…

Removal tool not included!

These are nice little caps that can be removed and reused if you have strong enough hands. It takes a lot of effort to remove the cap so that you can use it again. I use them with bottom 5 gallon Primo bottles of refrigerant, so the lid has to be removed completely to install the jug. We bought this set instead of a similar set that costs less because it came with a jug removal tool. Closures for your bottles. When it arrived it was only 20 capsules. There is no tool. I have problems with the…

Perfect for 5 gallon Primo pitchers! Reusable!

I bought these (yes I paid full price) to use with my Brio water dispenser and the 5 gallon Primo pitchers that I fill at Walmart. They work great, NO MORE SPILLS! I like that they are reusable. I've been reusing the same two for over a month now. The only caveats I'd like to offer are: 1) They can be a little difficult to detach from the bottle once empty. a little upset that they don't sell them in smaller quantities. I only needed about 4 pieces but there were only 20 in the package. This…
