- 1) This is nextgen. PS3 power is simply multiplied at times. More memory, more cores. Even the starting line compares favorably with the past-gen. 2) Convenience. Upon purchase, I immediately turned it on and climbed into the menu. The menu is small but very handy. It takes 10 minutes to study it. The play store works perfectly, click and play, finally like on a PC. 3) Gamepad. I don't know what they did to him. I've always been a fan of the classic PS-style gamepad and the xbox one didn't deliver to me. The F710 is connected to the PC and it seemed to me not bad. Picking up the controller, I realized how much I was wrong. Words cannot describe it. Various gyroscopes and stuff do not seem superfluous and are often used. It seems to be a trifle, but nice. 4) Appearance. She just looks cool. This is of course extremely subjective, but still. 5) Camera. There are a lot of different little things here that cling. For example, using the camera, the set-top box can recognize you and immediately go to the desired account. With the same camera, you can safely tell the console to start the game or turn off.
- 1) Sticks. And yet they fade away. Not very strong, but annoying. They say that only the first games suffer from this and new gamepads have a stronger coating on the sticks. 2) Mistakes. Everything is very different here. Someone has overheating and problems with HDMI, and someone generally works like a clock. At me, for example, sometimes the screen began to blink white. This is treated by disabling the Deep Color option in the video settings.
- 1) Beautiful appearance 2) Performance (probably) 3) Convenient joysticks 4) Convenient and beautiful operating system 5) Fast loading and system and games
- The left stick on both joysticks was peeled off, the rubber was frayed.
- - Exclusive games are beautiful. But soon it will end.
- - Sony deceived everyone, saying that the console is the most powerful, - Games are beautiful, but for the sake of graphics, everything else that games need is cut (detail, number of NPCs, AI, fog and blurry textures), - joystick is uncomfortable
- Graphics in native exclusive games - on top; the console is as simple and convenient as possible to use (however, just like its predecessor PS3); beautiful, compact and mobile; modest electricity consumption; quiet (even if the game is on a disk, the disk spins in the tray for only 15-20 seconds while the game is loading, and then silence); the new gamepad is more convenient than its predecessor - the sticks have a pleasant and informative shape and better responsiveness; Very fast Wi-Fi adapter. An interesting effect from the speaker and diode built into the gamepad - they give the game an atmosphere. In "sleep mode" allows you to charge gamepads and download / install games. Overall, there is no significant difference in usability between PS4 and PS3. The new console is simply better in some aspects - in terms of graphics, of course, and in terms of the informativeness of the gamepad. Plus, it's more technologically advanced - it allows you to make videos and photos (very interesting photo mode) of your own adventures. Well, again, a console is a console. I inserted the disc with the game (or downloaded it from the Store) and that's it - you can play. There are no troubles with setting up graphics and taking care of achieving the coveted number of fps. As there are no thoughts about how, what and when to upgrade. Yes, about the graters on the topic of 30/60 fps - this is all nonsense. If there is a difference, it is only when playing first-person shooters (which have never been a console genre, because they are still sharpened by a mouse), and even then it is small. Here, a drop below 30 fps is already noticeable (but in reality this happens very rarely). And so, if the game has a stable 30 fps, then the gameplay does not raise absolutely any questions. And here we must pay tribute to the game developers - basically, all games on the console from the first day provide the same 30 fps without any hassle on the part of the user. There are exceptions, but, as a rule, such problems are fixed very quickly with the help of patches.
- Not a particularly capacious controller battery (enough for two or three days with a "dim" LED setting). Expensive games - if you plan to buy a bunch of multiplatform games for the console, then you should think a hundred times before buying it, because in this case it will be much more profitable to buy a PC - all the same, games in 2022 Steam are three times cheaper than in the PS Store. If you are burning with the desire to play multi-platform titles, then here you should pay attention to purchases. I would wait until the games you are interested in fall under the next sale (the easiest way to keep track of changes in the prices of games in the PS Store is with the help of the wonderful site psprices(dot)com), or until used discs at sane prices appear. Also keep in mind that the amount of traffic when downloading games from PSN is simply gigantic. Therefore, without an unlimited and fast channel (at least 15-20 Mbps) it will be difficult. It is a pity that, if necessary, both the speaker and the vibration of the gamepad can be turned off, but the LED cannot. It would be nice if Sony gave users more freedom in this regard.
- 1) The graphics in both exclusives and multiplatform are nice. 1080p and 60 fps (almost everywhere). Clear textures, nice effects, everything is smooth and soft; 2) Naturally games. Good game lineup, upcoming exclusives are interesting, there are re-releases in high definition for those who missed it or want to replay it in good quality; 3) The microphone in the joystick is very unusual when he talks to you (when he voiced in The Last Of Us, he thought he overplayed it). It’s a pity that developers don’t use it as often as the touchpad (more like a button); 4) 3.5 jack right in the joystick. Comfortable. 5) No noise, no heat. Built-in power supply. Compact.
- 1) Sooooooo uncomfortable and slow PS Store (well, this is my personal opinion); 2) Glossy plastic and body materials in general did not please; 3) The gamepad is unusual (compared to the Xbox 360), the sticks are not erased yet (as they say in the previous revision there was such a jamb). The gloss around the buttons is out of place at all; 4) The prices for games are high because of the dollar. Both old and new are expensive. There are sales of course . but not really saving. There are 10 demo versions and a couple of freetuples; 5) The built-in browser leaves much to be desired (even on the Xbox 360 it is not so mentally retarded); 6) Strange license verification system - you need the Internet to run (when PSN is down - you don't play. And it often goes down); 7) Paid multiplayer is not ice.
- 1) The console will not require upgrades, and will definitely last five years on the market. 2) Games for the console are sharpened by a specialist for it, which means that when buying a game, you are sure that you can comfortably play it without worrying about ating firewood, again upgrading components, like on a PC. 3) The library of games is already quite impressive, although there are not so many exclusives. However, they are almost all worthy of attention. 4) The console is quite neat, looks organic, at the same time it is easy to take it somewhere with you. 5) Most of the games are in FHD, which appeals to me. The permission above is not needed at this stage. 6) Lie down on the sofa/armchair and play. Comfortable, especially after a hard day's work. Yes, you can do it on a PC if you try, but personally I don’t know how.
- 1) Yes, yes, the games are decent. But we all know why. For me personally, this is a big minus. However, this means that I will only buy games that are really worthy of attention. 2) The case creaks, but the minus is small - I have it without movement. Plastic, let's say, not very premium, but I don't care about that either. Noted simply because it is. 3) The console makes noise under load, this cannot be taken away. However, here it’s not necessary once in a while - someone has a lower noise level, someone has a higher one. It's unclear what it depends on. However, it must be admitted that the latter are much more numerous. 4) Some games do not have the promised 30 fps. In particular, this is The Witcher 3, although the situation has improved slightly since the last patch. However, it is cross-platform. And yes, in the modern world, the difference between 30 and 60 fps is felt. 5) In 2022, PSN often works with all sorts of interesting tricks. Himself, however, thank God, did not come across anything critical.
- 1. Cool prefix 2. Much cheaper than pumping a computer
- Didn't find any flaws
- I will say right away there are both PC and PS4. Computer worthy gaming msi. Here's a review of the console. Cool stuff! I bought the game Horizon zero dawn. Game exclusive for ps4. In general, there are more than 70 games on the console. I buy everything digitally. I do not like disks and noise from them. played passed deleted. wanted to go through again loaded. The joystick is just super and the touchpad is there and it makes sounds, and most importantly, very convenient.
- I didn't find any good. The console can be used for more than just gaming. you can watch movies. listen to music. sit in social networks, etc. This is a multimedia center and not a purely game console. Pk yes what the hell is he? if only the docks are printed and whether the licenses with viruses are not free to download from torrents! And there are no viruses. all games are worked out and glitches or brakes will not be 100%.
- Cheaper than building a new PC. It is convenient to play. Exclusive games on the platform.
- 500Gb is very small, there is no way to play many games at the same time.
- - best performance among consoles - convenient and quick menu - social functions, "play while you download" function - handy gamepad
- - very noisy - low battery capacity of the gamepad - on firmware 1.61 sometimes there is thoughtfulness - the absence of many PS3 functions and the unavailability of TV and music applications in 2022 - overpriced (in the USA, for the official price in 2022, you can buy a camera, a gamepad and deliver it to your apartment by courier, yes, at the current high dollar rate, everything is within 20990)
- Cool device! 1. Count thing (over time, it will also be improved) 2. Gamepad - convenience, convenience and convenience again)) 3. This is, in any case, excellent copies from Sony 4. This is the speed of installing games (inserted the disk, went poured tea, came back, you can already play)))
- For me, they don't exist on this system. Only a buggy PSN and that's it. And so I took it for games and in this it has no equal !
