You get what you pay for. That works well enough. Very easy, sometimes drifts/jumps. I've tried different mouse pads and tested on different computers. I even tested my roommate's mouse and only this mouse drifts. It's not very noticeable in games, but it bugs me every time I try to draw a straight line or do something in MS Paint. I like the light and its texture. It is convenient to use.

Let's take the packaging first. I ordered a second wired mouse for my laptop. This one arrived with a broken and partially opened box containing a mouse case. Looks like it was a return sent as a new product. The mouse and downloadable software are flawless, and for a basic multi-button gaming mouse, they do the job well. In this case, I've found that the optical method is a little less finicky when used on an opaque surface, as the lasers eventually stop working when dirt on the surface interferes with their reception.
