Excellent value for money and quality. Looks much better in real life than the pictures

You get a lot for your money with this tank. The light can support soft corals and I like two of the three color modes. The filtration works well but the pump is small so you need a small breakwater to improve circulation. The protein skimmer is tricky, but works well when set up. The heating is also sufficient. Instructions are almost non-existent and nobody replies to the email that comes with the documents. The "Instructions” on the protein skimmer packaging is an item description and does…

Everything works

A few things I will modify or change (more powerful water pump, smaller heater and maybe drill a few more holes to add more options) but everything seems to work as it was. The skimmer has nothing to do yet, but it seems to have a lot of settings for water and bubbles, so that's not a problem. The water MUST be filled to the level of the top fill holes or the pump will run dry. Mine took 5 pounds of sand and about 6.5 gallons with no rocks or creatures. Don't buy this

Where to start? Conclusion - do not buy! I kick myself for not sending it back right away. It was so cute that I decided I would just make it work. I ended up changing literally every accessory that came with it and it still didn't work for me. By the way, I'm not new to marine aquariums; I just wanted a little something extra for my home office. First - it doesn't hold 8 liters of water. The black spacer is some kind of flexible plastic, so mine cracked while adjusting the reverse pump nozzle.
