I got this for my son. The box art did not impress him as he found it a bit too youngish for him.so I got to build it. Right off the bat, let me say that this thing looks a lot like a Lego product, and as I built it, I found it hard to not think of it as a Lego model. Ordered as a gift for my grandson and he loved it. He is six a loves the fact the he can control it with it with his iPad. His dad helped him build it.

My kids like these a lot. However, they were difficult to assemble. Maybe for 10-11 and up it would be ok but for 6 years olds—no way. Adult supervision was not an option. It was full on adult assembly. They have had some parts come off also while playing and that definitely required adult intervention also. All that being said, I am giving it 4 stars because the kids like them a lot and they did learn something ‘helping’ put them together.

I was pretty happy with this product, but did find it pretty difficult to put together. The instructions are clear, but many small parts makes it quite the process. The controller is pretty hard to use as well but the robot itself looks cool and works as advertised. The only downside i noticed on the robot itself was that it didn't make any noises at all. just the whirring motor sounds.

A young man who has some leggos loved this. His father helped somewhat in putting it together. It does not have to be completely assembled to play with it. The controller is fine for basic operation and chasing the family dog, but get the app and really go crazy. Easily worth the money.
