Anyone who calls these screws electric should be fired. They don't match anything with electrical switches or outlets. I'm giving them 1 start because that was the only purpose I bought them for. As others have said they are great for closets and other things.

Most of the negative reviews are from people who bought them for sockets. This is not correct for sockets (sockets 6-32 screws). The screws in this range are 8-32 and are suitable for light boxes, light fixtures, embossed covers, etc. The screws are made in China but appear to be of decent quality.

This assortment contains 8 x 32 screws normally used for fixings NOT sockets. Sockets usually require a smaller 6x32 screw. I say "usually" because I often renovate old houses with metal outlets. Inevitably, I will come across an old metal bushing that was either cross-threaded or ripped off many years ago by someone trying to "fix" the bushing.
