🚗 Optimized Carrying Case for Garmin Devices Review

Overall I would rate this item a 4 or 5; However, my zipper broke after a few months of use. The thin metal is covered in rubber and can break with little use.

Nice to have this product. I use this product with a Montana 650T and it compresses heavily and the zipper pull tab broke. Would I buy again if I couldn't find a better product.

Garmin's universal carrying case lists the Montana GPS as compatible and while it fits it is VERY tight making it difficult to get the Montana out of the case remove. I ended up ordering a larger Garmin case and it works well with the Montana GPS. Universal coverage really isn't universal.

The name speaks for itself. This bag cannot be called "universal" because it does not fit all products. I couldn't fit my 60CSx in, and I don't think any Garmin with an external antenna, no matter how good, will fit in here. However, for those it's for, the case seems well made and more than enough to store your GPS.

I bought this for Oregon. It fits, but there's a lot of extra space. Approximately 1" on top, 1/2" on the side, and maybe 1/4" more thickness. The lug is the same size as the Oregon. Despite the extra room, the Oregon will not fit when a Garmin Swivel Belt Clip is attached is included.By the way, the belt clip is very handy - if you clip the GPS to your belt you don't have to carry it down when you need your hands free, so grab it when you go.The material is about average in the Construction…

Not a big fan of this - it was featured on the product page of a Montana 650t I just bought and it doesn't fit well. I put it in there to see if it would stretch and be easier to use, but it's clearly too small and not well shaped. I'd offer a more thoughtful list of products it fits in, separating it from the 650t and others it clearly doesn't fit. I ordered a Garmin RV785 carrying case that is about 8 inches long and about 5 inches wide. The description in the case description was clear and definitely intended for the larger Garmin. I received an Oregon GPS case that is about 1/3 smaller than the RV785. Upon receipt I asked for a refund and replacement.
