Precise Wind Measurement

Whenever I'm out sailing, reliable electronics are a must. When I tried this replacement wind vane, I was immediately impressed by the accuracy of the wind measurements. It worked perfectly with my existing marine electronics and was easy to install. The only downside is that it may be a bit pricey for some boaters, but the precision it offers is well worth the investment. Overall, a great addition to any sailor's electronics arsenal.

Poor product design for marine electronics

Poor product design. It is not possible to install a weathervane on the core while it is on the mast. Garmin support was great, but to no avail. Garmin support allows you to replace the core and blade with new ones, but it costs $99, which is better than buying a new system. may be.

I was happy with the displays, chart plotter and sonar/water speed/water temperature sensors. This wind sensor is not typical of the quality I have had from Garmin in the past and I have been using their products since the…
