I was hit by a driver who ran a red light and then said I ran a red light. So I bought a DVR so this never happens to me again. This motherfucker lied and it cost me $1000 (deductible). Never again. This camera works well, it's nice and compact.

Video quality is good. The lens provides a wide view of the entire anterior range of motion. Transferring saved video clips to a laptop is much easier than with DVRs I've had in the past. I like the information about the location and speed of the car shown in the video, it's useful information if the incident in question ever occurs.

that thing was bullshit. Maybe the new ones are ok, but I accidentally bought a refurbished one. The photos and videos looked fine I think, but they reset on every reboot. Constantly disconnected from the phone. Extremely hot charging in my 74 degree house, imagine melting on the windshield. The one I received was junk and wanted to come back.

Garmin design is good, no need to drive around and look at the small screen in a regular DVR. Garmin gets exactly what's a problem with traditional brands. Unfortunately, Garmin is sold at a high price with no features other than a small scope with a rear window. Garmin waiting for Revain to take over the market?!
