Garmin GTM Digital Traffic Receiver Review

This HD traffic cable had the advantage of displaying real-time traffic and road construction. This is normal for traffic data, but for road construction the accuracy is only about 25%. I live in Minnesota, we have two seasons: winter and road construction. It is very important for me to have accurate information and this cable does not live up to expectations.

I bought this because my old purchase of a Garmin Power Card didn't support data traffic. Even with this Traffice receiver, my GPS still shows that the connected power cord does not support Traffice updates. I felt cheated after paying $65 including tax, the goal was not met. I got my wasüvi® 2598LMTHD GPS from COSTCO, the original power cable was broken due to normal wear and tear. I plan to return the traffic receiver cable.

If you don't want to bind your phone to the GPS but still want to get traffic and weather data, this is for you. I prefer this HD receiver cable to the "normal" receiver cable. From day one, this traffic receiver doesn't really transmit traffic updates. continued to show searching for a signal even when I was in several major urban areas. contacted Garmin told them about the problem and they let me record the traffic logs which I sent them. They then requested a traffic version of the software. which unfortunately wasn't on my Garmin nüvi camera as there is a traffic receiver block built into this particular cable.
