Description of Advanced Garmin HRM-PRO Heart 🏃 Rate Transmitter: Unparalleled Accuracy and Performance

Brand: GarminThis premium heart rate chest strap allows you to record your running, swimming, cycling and more. It transmits real-time heart rate data via ANT+® and Bluetooth® Low Energy. This means you always get accurate heart rate data on your Garmin device, online workout apps like Zwift, or even compatible fitness equipment at the gym. In addition to heart rate, HRM-Pro records running performance values that can help you improve your fitness. This includes data such as vertical movement, ground contact time, stride length, vertical ratio and more. Heart rate data is stored on the device if your watch is out of range while swimming or doing other activities. When the action is completed, the data is sent to the watch. Steps, calories and intensity minutes are also stored and synced. The HRM-Pro has a small and lightweight heart rate module that is as narrow as a soft comfortable strap. The service life of a replaceable button battery is up to a year. Parameters: Device dimensions (L x W x D): from 60 to 142 x 3 x 1.2 cm. No complaints, I recommend to buy.

Alas, in connection with the , there are no guarantees. On the site by serial number pops up "We hereby inform you that the device is not listed in the database of the exclusive distributor of GARMIN in 2022"

Pros
  • Top model from Garmin. Autonomy of work, a variety of metrics, ease of use, a good alternative to an optical sensor - sensitively and quickly responds to heart rate when working with segments. Optical can not boast of such a response
Cons
  • The previous one worked for 13 months and died quietly. 5-6 workouts a week, I attribute it to the intensity of use. Generally satisfied. Although I am looking at a sensor of another model that is removable from the belt

Best price for this product, will buy more!

Great for those who monitor their heart rate while playing sports. Can be used even if there are no other gadgets from Garmin

Pros
  • An excellent device, it connects via bluetooth to the phone, you can use it with various applications (Strava, Runtastic, etc.)
Cons
  • Didn't find any cons

Good quality product, I rate this purchase excellent.

So far, I have not identified any cons of this model for myself. Perhaps the next running season will show them again, but I really hope not. If you're looking for really detailed statistics on your workouts, right down to ground contact time, then the GARMIN HRM PRO is your go-to training companion.

Pros
  • My first serious purchase on the way to quality preparation for the sports season was the Fenix sports watch. All statistics were uploaded to the application instantly. However, reliable data on the pulse remained a mystery to me. At the beginning of my journey, I could hardly feel my body, and distinguishing 140 strokes from 150 was beyond my understanding. Tracking heart rate without a chest strap was a problem: I have a thin hand, and the watch periodically showed not quite reliable numbers (at least they were very different from my internal sensations). With the advent of the Garmin HRM PRO chest heart rate monitor, it has become much easier to train - to build the right workouts based on MY heart rate zones, track the dynamics of heart rate \ pace, finally see reliable numbers when skiing (since the hands constantly swing, track blows with wrist without a sensor is almost impossible). In addition to standard readings, my heart rate monitor can read vertical oscillation, ground contact time, stride length, vertical ratio, and more. I believe that this is a completely new level of data capture, which is very important when entering a high level of training, when energy savings through technology are already of paramount importance. Unfortunately, I have nothing to compare the GARMIN HRM PRO sensor with. But why unfortunately? Fortunately! Once you get used to the best, you realize that you don’t agree to anything less. The heart rate monitor is very convenient to use - the elastic band made of dense material does not rub the skin (which sometimes happens with girls because of a sports top). The heart rate monitor can (and should) be washed in water and dried. By the way, for swimmers it will be relevant that the device saves heart rate data while swimming (or other activities when your watch is out of range). All data is transferred in real time via ANT+ ® connection and BLUETOOTH® Low Energy technology.

Normal product, but wanted more for the money.

Contrary to common sense, the heart rate monitor does not work in real time with the phone - garmin connect. For online monitoring, you can install a third-party program from Polar or something else, but Garmin screwed up again and deprived us of important functions ((( . but garmin connect has competitions and a news feed - this is definitely more important than the pulse on the screen (((

Pros
  • Looks high quality
Cons
  • It doesn't work just with a phone, you need either a watch or a bike computer !

Didn't quite buy it well, had a little trouble using it.

I needed a second heart rate monitor, I decided to buy HRM-PRO. I looked at the review on the ProstObzor channel, I liked everything But after two weeks, this is what happened. * The HRM-PRO cannot be your first garmin device, you must already have a watch or bike computer. * in order to take advantage of all the features of the HRM-PRO, you need a fairly expensive watch / bike computer on the garmin website, of course, there is a list of supported devices, but it turns out that the HRM-PRO…

Pros
  • * stylish * pleasant to the touch * received two achievements in garmin connect (one for adding HRM-PRO, another for removing Polar H10) * garmin connect shows HRM-PRO battery charge * can connect to "concept 2 pm5" (you can watch the pulse on the screen) * can read the pulse from the belly, so as not to break it during the bench press
Cons
  • * only two electrodes, unlike PolarH10 where there are four of them * intermittently loses pulse for quite a long time for 6 workouts on 3 pieces were lost, lasting up to 50 seconds PolarH10 also lost my pulse, but literally, for one or two seconds * there is synchronization with garmin connect, but what it synchronizes there is not clear * the heart rate monitor does not work by itself, without a watch / bike computer * if the watch / bike computer does not support any metrics from HRM-PRO, then these metrics will not be available in garmin connect either (for example, running metrics or heart rate variability) * in the description of the HRM-PRO features there is information that it can count the heart rate variability, but in the end it turns out that 1. if the watch / bike computer does not know how to variability, then this will not get into garmin-connect, 2. The numerical indicator of pulse variability itself cannot be viewed, it will be used only when calculating the body-battery.

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

Great device for users of the Garmin ecosystem Has some pros: High accuracy heart rate measurement, swimming operation (records heart rate and transmits to Garmin watch after), able to record training parameters without a watch and transmit to Garmin watch after Different cons: Detachment of the sensor from the belt is not provided (you cannot wash the belt in the machine), the belt extender is not included in the kit (must be purchased separately). Expensive, but it's Garmin))

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

Got pros: Easily connects to the phone and to the simulators. Three in one is very convenient Has some cons: In realtime, the data is only with the clock. It's hard to find this app on a phone.
