Great Connectivity for My Electronics!

After trying a few different cables with no success, I came across this NMEA cable and it worked like a charm! The right angle design helps with space management and it provides reliable connectivity for my electronics. The only con is the price point, but I believe it's worth the investment for a quality product. Overall, I highly recommend this cable for anyone needing to connect their electronics.

Pros
  • Allows for easy connection between Garmin devices and NMEA network systems.
Cons
  • The right angle design may only be compatible with certain installation requirements and may limit flexibility in placement.

For connection to a B&G Triton display.

To connect to a B&G Triton display. The right angle connector prevents the cable from protruding too far and can easily be fixed close to the bulkhead.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

Garmin NMEA 2000 cable with 90 degree connector defect

Ordered 2 Garmin NMEA cables with 90 degree connector. One was fine, the other had a 90 degree misaligned connector. It was sent back and quickly replaced, but the replacement turned out to be defective. Garmin says there have been issues with faulty cables, but they've all had to be recalled. Apparently not, because Garmin sent me one directly and it is also defective. The 90 degree connector points in the opposite direction to the intended direction.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak
