Not worth the money!

I've had my watch strap less than two weeks and it's already dirty and looking worn. I take very good care of my belongings and I'm not a dirty person so this shouldn't happen. For the $50 I paid for it, it should be of much better quality. I do not recommend this group; it is NOT worth the money!

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Something different

This harness stays closed

I used to buy a generic branded harness and hated it. My wrist is quite small so the end of the strap comes out of the loop and dangles. annoys. Got a real Garmin band. Have been using them for several months. It's hard to believe, but that little bit sticking out from the inside of the hinge makes a world of difference. Fabulous!

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

In this case the brand name beats the aftermarket

I think I should have looked up the definition of cherry. I would describe it as "berry" or "purple". The quality seems to be good. The texture is different from the original tape. Fits perfectly and doesn't fall out. I tried the secondary strap and liked the feel, but it fell off. Stick to the brand name even if it's expensive

Pros
  • handsfree
Cons
  • protection

Not the same with straps

I originally bought a non-Garmin replacement strap and it was too stiff to stay on my wrist. Got this next and while it works well, it often slips out of the watch if it's tight enough not to move on my wrist and with little pressure on the bracelet or dial (like when it snags or touches something ) it pops out. The original strap was the best but I wore this watch for several years (3-4?) and ended up having to replace the strap as it was about to break.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Almost ok

Great replacement for any 20mm Garmin watch strap when doing chores

Perfect match for Garmin Fenix 5S combined with a gold bezel. Garmin does not advertise that a 20mm strap is a 20mm strap. If you want to change straps with tools rather than the simplicity of a Quickfit strap, this is a great solution. The QuickFit bands are great but expensive, and none of Garmin's Fenix 5S bands come with gold-colored hardware. While this group does.

Pros
  • Simply remove the straps by sliding the bar and slip on other straps for the perfect personal accessory
Cons
  • Not bad, but..

not identical

I originally purchased a third party replacement band and it was too stiff to stay on my wrist. Got this next and while it works well it often slips out of the watch if it's tight enough not to move on my wrist and with little pressure on the bracelet or dial (if it gets stuck or something touched) it jumps out . The original strap was the best but I wore this watch for several years (3-4?) and ended up having to replace the strap as it was on the verge of breaking.

Pros
  • Scope of delivery: 20 mm quick release strap
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

If you can go a year without a strap, consider yourself lucky

I've had the watch for about 2 years now. Garmin Vivoactive 3. Purchased in July 2018. The original strap broke in May 2019, then I bought a replacement OEM strap from Garmin. Guess what? It broke tonight. They have a lifespan of 10-11 months. I wear the watch every day, only take it off to shower or contact sports. I had the original from Vivoactive and the band never broke in 3-4 years. For now I will search for the best band because I like watches.

Pros
  • Compatible with multiple Garmin watches
Cons
  • Available in black only
