Best for dogs 60 pounds and under

I like the ability to disable tracking without removing the collar from the dog. Saves time changing seats or having lunch. The battery lasts longer than I am willing to walk/hunt. .

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some issues

Excellent collar, smaller version of the standard collar

Excellent collar, smaller version of the standard collar. This system works very well when hunting in the forested areas of Mauna Kea. Now I use it on a puppy so I needed a smaller collar.

Pros
  • Good performance
Cons
  • Functionality

One worked, one didn't.

After the update and with the tracking display connected, the battery is empty. One of the two collars works. I've spoken to Garmin and as I'm stopping by I'll be purchasing a new Alpha 100 battery and replacement collar.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Easy to maintain

Ready to pair with my Alpha 100. Getting a good GPS signal. three green flashes. The collar gets vibrations and stimuli from the Alpha 100 but doesn't report location, battery status etc. Alpha 100. Returned to Revain two weeks before the start of the hunt but a real sucker. A device exchange is currently not available. There are no instructions in the packaging and the collar is too long. I cut it before realizing the unit was defective. Spent at least 3 hours fiddling with it, downloading…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

Must have for hunting dogs! Makes life easier

Battery only lasts 8 hours but works great and my German Shorthaired Pointer is smaller so the mini looks and works best here. The full end of the antenna was almost rubbing against the ground, but on this mini it comes out right down the left side of her neck, and the heels are right over her neck and pointing to the right, so it's right over her for a big lonely one range of services. She has been playing for over 1000 years and after a hit she turns around and comes home and I see her…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Clarity

Smaller but worse than regular size

I have a regular size TT 15 and this mini. The Mini is significantly smaller and lighter, but has a shorter range and a smaller battery. The collar strap seems more durable on the mini collar. At the end of a day of use, the regular-sized version has two battery bars left, while the mini version only has one. The GPS on the mini collar jumps a lot more than the regular one, only 20 feet or so, but this makes the "track" very loud and blocks other tracks on the screen. I would buy a regular size

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
