The key is that the data cable works with the Garmin

Using a regular power cable works with the Garmin. But newer models with traffic alerts tell you that the cable doesn't allow for traffic alerts. But this extension cord speaks flawlessly to Garmin

Pros
  • USB 2 to 1 split connection
Cons
  • I'll write later

Exact Replacement: Chargers and Cables

This is an exact replacement for the splitter that came with my Garmin Alpha 100. One of the connectors on the cord that came with my unit just broke off after about a year of use. It was a little strange. Hopefully this one gets a little stronger (I think).

Pros
  • Package Weight: 1.0 lbs
Cons
  • old
