    Decent iron. - Straightening iron

    Good iron for the price. It doesn't hold heat and doesn't lower temperatures easily or well. I've also noticed that the temperature drops mid-use. Again, it works for the price, but I personally prefer to spend the extra $30-$50 and get something that actually works well and will hold and maintain an even temperature. I have naturally curly hair, so when styling my hair, temperature is everything.

    The power button is annoying.

    I use this product to straighten my hair. The power button is in the wrong place. Most of the time it turns off accidentally. It should block at a certain temperature, but it doesn't block, it turns off. Smooths well, but after turning off you have to wait to warm up.

    This iron heats up quickly to over 400 degrees but can get jittery when trying to lower the temperature. Otherwise it works fine. the locking mechanism helps a lot. The plates are smooth and glide well through the hair.

    Long plates that make it easier to use

    I think the best thing about this iron is watching the digital temperature rise quickly. It only takes 15 seconds to heat up to 410 degrees. It's too hot for my hair so I had to learn how to set the temperature to 350 degrees. It wasn't easy to set the temperature; has a mind of its own. It has a lock, which is necessary because my hand pressed the settings several times when using it. I've used it several times for beach curls and straightening. The first time was for beachy curls. Even better

    Heats up fast: hair straightener

    Heats up quickly. Works well although I prefer ceramic coated irons but for $32 you can't beat it. Perfect for my teenager. Makes hair silky. Multiple heat settings but I always use it on medium heat and it didn't do any harm. The swivel cord is the only way to prevent it from getting tangled during use. I can straighten it and curl it, both. Comes with a carry bag, convenient for traveling.
