Perfect for my garage ventilation.

Good product. Used for ventilation in the garage. The ball valve operates with a 180 degree rotation making it ideal for left or right handed applications.

Pros
  • Brass with corrosion resistance, high temperature ductility and low magnetic permeability.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

2 out of 3 worked great, 1 didn't!

Seems to be quite well made, at least 2 out of 3 worked as intended. I'm not sure what happened to it, but if you pull the handle down to shut off the airflow, it still lets air through. It could be an easy fix, or it could just be a bad ball valve. I'll know more when I disassemble the airline so I can report why a valve failed.

Pros
  • Designed for hot water preparation and drinking liquid distribution. 150 psi
Cons
  • Not sure

Male Thread Mismatch

Threaded part too short on male end. For 1/4" NPT, the threads should mesh 3/8" and the distance from the shoulder to the end of the last thread is shorter. It will be difficult to seal properly unless a curing thread sealant is used. I changed the rating to 1 star because the low thread issue makes it useless or at least very bad in most cases.

Pros
  • 180 Degree Control Handle; Double O-ring
Cons
  • Expensive
