precision and longevity.

This item will not fit a 2000 or 2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ 99 as advertised. Unfortunately after trying it on several different Jeeps that were advertised as suitable it could not handle the pressure and none of them had water could circulate. Luckily, Revain made an agreement with the seller to refund my purchase price.

Not what I expected

I used to have a Prestone Radiation Cap on my car and didn't bother with it. from time to time all over my happy. So I thought I'd give Gates a try. Same cover, different name. Went to a Chrysler dealership and bought an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) hubcap. The price was twice the price but the quality is worth it. Mopar bag.

Pros
  • Standard
Cons
  • So like that

Don't trust the reviews on this cap.

It "fits" but doesn't hold tight enough to even qualify as a radiator cap. I didn't drive my truck in the freezing cold for more than 10 minutes and it still got hot enough to squeeze out the coolant and spit it all over the place. My old drain cap never leaked. I wanted to get a new good one, but all I did was spend my money on a useless product. I'm glad I decided to try it while it was still cold because I did it in the summer, I probably ran out of coolant in the truck.
