Not worth the money spent

Based on our own experience with this automotive replacement cap, we found it to be disappointing. While the cap fit correctly, it did not hold up under normal usage. The material seemed cheap and did not perform as expected. Unfortunately, we had to replace the cap sooner than anticipated. The only pro is that the cap fit properly. However, the cons outweigh the pros and we would not recommend this product.

Pros
  • High-quality construction and durable materials ensure consistent performance.
Cons
  • It was possible to choose a newer model

My problem solved! best in caps

Bought because I got a new cooler because it was leaking. It leaked anyway so I bought this hat and BOOM. That solved the problem!

Pros
  • Gates - Driven By Possibility
Cons
  • Quality

Hose fell apart

Replaced water pump and found the upper hose fell apart after getting cold. Thought it was the lack of coolant. Run it uncapped to burst open the system and found the thermostat was also stuck open. IN ANY CASE. Replacing the radiator cap solved my collapsing hose issue and it now uses the expansion tank as it should.

Pros
  • Provides long life and accurate pressure control
Cons
  • Can't remember
