Good product! fits aftermarket

Works great at a fraction of the original equipment cost! Although it is listed as not suitable for automatic cars, there is no difference and it works for all 06-15 NC Mazda MX5 Miata.

Great bang for the buck.

Slightly smaller and lighter than the OEM but after a few months of driving it's fine and the spring isn't rattling against the body like I've had on BOTH of the last two Mazda OEM tensioners. . I hope this one doesn't rattle either.

no problems yet best in parts

Parts can be found by accident so sometimes you have to weigh up whether the fitting time is worth the money paid. It was significantly cheaper than a factory part and cheaper than I could find from various sellers for my price (I'm a tech). Gates is obviously a well-known good brand.

Quality and fit was perfect

This is the first time I've altered something like this. The install on my 2006 Mazda Miata went according to plan except the bottom bolt was corroded and the head broke in half. A few trips back and forth to the parts store led me to finding the right tool to pull that bolt out and flatten it there. Replacing this and a worn idler pulley STOPPED THE DIRT ON THE LOW IDLE/ENGINE that was so noticeable. If I can do it, so can you.
