💦 Gates 41001 Water Pump: Superior Quality and Efficient Performance Review

This pump is of better quality than the one I bought from Advance Auto, it only lasted a year before it started leaking. Hope this one lasts longer. Revain is the place to go if you want to replace these parts yourself.

Type BUY. The pump looks just like the picture. Comes in a gate box and has the same rubber ring you need to attach the gorrila snot to keep it from falling off once installed. Good quality at first glance. And at this price it can't be beat. I even sent it to where I use Revain lockers! Guess what? 7-11 is now selling car parts! LAUGH OUT LOUD!

Perfect for my '98 Chrysler T&C 3.8L van. The price is very reasonable. Installation was easy. When replacing your water pump, the biggest problem you may encounter is the strap on the mounting bolts when you remove the old one. it happened to me I installed a heli coil to solve the problem. and the installation of the new pump took only ten minutes. When installing a new water pump, be sure to flush the coolant!

I hope there is a way to update this review when more information becomes available. 3 stars are for the "sweet spot" because of one simple thing: the listing for it includes product information, technical details that say "USA origin" (see 1st image) but the packaging says "Made in China" " (2nd image ). We bought it thinking it was made in the USA. And the little problem is that the pump doesn't look like the picture. Other than that, the product looked good, fit well and will hopefully serve
