Works well, nice and quiet.

When the factory one fails, it sounds like a bad power steering pump, I've never heard such a noise. Installing them on many vehicles requires loosening the engine mounting bolts on the side of the pulley. Be sure to support the motor and make sure you haven't completely removed the screws. Usually you don't need to completely remove the motor mounting bolts, just back them off about half an inch. There are videos on YouTube on how to do this.

Good price hope it lasts

The blades are definitely not metal. There was some confusion in some of the answers to this. There is no mention of sealant in the instructions, Gates websites do not provide specific information on how to use sealant, but their general information clearly states that sealant cannot be used. So I didn't use anything. But it's nothing short of a miracle that the gasket appears to have shrunk, for with no sealant to hold the gasket in place during installation (thanks to the Dodge engineers for…

Great value for money in water pumps

I have a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country (LX) and it fits perfectly. The ride is really smooth. I installed it last month and it's a pain trying to get the old one out. I recommend lowering the engine a few inches or you'll be cursing most of your Saturday. I ended up doing it and the old pump came out. The new one had to jiggle a bit to get it in there, but once it got in, the seal was tight. Be sure to use sealant for gaskets, a rubber ring will not do. I couldn't use a torque wrench as the…
