The bent ends fell off.

The crimped ends fell off the first two cables as I attached them to the terminal. I had to re-crimp and shrink all the ends. This is a potential hazard.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Revainrating 2 out of 5

very poor workmanship not worth the price won't buy again

The end clamps were not crimped properly if I hadn't checked before installing there would have been a big problem. I had to go and reinstall them professionally. Shrinking by heat

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • mostly ok but...

The tips were not crimped properly

I do not like to give negative reviews, but the fact that not one, but two noses fell off in my hand is a failure. Better quality control is needed to assure the user that the ferrules are properly crimped. The wire itself is very flexible and of decent quality.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

2/0 by 3 feet for inverter

When I upgraded my inverter to a 1200W pure sine wave model in my backup system, I wanted to avoid the problems I had with old cables (old Cable) . were too small and used alligator clips). These new cables are overkill for my use, but for now the inverter is very, very happy.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not the best

Excellent cables suitable for jumpers, chargers and portable power supplies

From the reviews I don't know what quality control issues this company has had in the past but my cables are of good quality and size. Nearly perfect. These are the wires that connect to the battery. I ran 125 amps through a 1500 watt inverter to brew coffee and had no heat issues at all. The procedure went smoothly. The project is a solar generator that I assembled. I will definitely buy from this company again for future builds.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Nothing here

The quality is not as good as expected

The heat shrink tubing attached to the connectors was loose and of poor quality. For a "Made in the USA" product and for the price one should expect better workmanship. I took my time removing the old crap and replacing it with much better heat shrink tubing with glue. The problem is solved, I will not buy any more batteries from this company. At Battery Cables USA you can get better quality cables made in the USA for the same price.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Almost never

Tabs are cheap or badly crimped because they come loose. I put on boots and the eyelet came loose. Bad crimps can have high resistance and generate heat, and if loose, arcing can occur, both of which can lead to a fire. After returning these cables, I found the US dot com battery cables. I bought the cables from Batterycablesusa and they are very well crimped. I couldn't get the tip off and there is glue on the heat shrink tubing.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Modern

Absolute rubbish! on Tools & Equipment

Looks good. Used to connect an additional solar panel. After months of frustrating trying to figure out why I couldn't get a full charge, I found that one end of the positive cable was only held in place by shrink wrap. It didn't have the right dimples. When I removed the shrink wrap the cable actually fell off. No wonder I couldn't get a good load. Not worth the hassle and disappointment. Buy from a quality company or make your own cables. Don't trust these people.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks
