Flimsy Copper Cables for Cars

Through trial and error, I found that these cables are not of the best quality. The copper is too thin and the cables feel flimsy in my hands. The one pro is that they are affordable. But the cons outweigh it. I wouldn't trust these cables for anything other than very light use. Look for sturdier options.

Pros
  • Durable copper material ensures reliable performance and efficient power transfer.
Cons
  • There are troubles

Good quality at a great price

Quality construction, Made in USA wire, great price. I should have ordered a 3/8 stud size though. I was able to drill out the shaft with a drill press, so it worked.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Functionality

Well done, conditions are very good

I tested these shorties under load with continuous discharge at C rating on a 100Ah battery and was really impressed that the terminal temperature with conductive paste corresponds to the ambient temperature. I also briefly pulled a 130A hard resistive load and there was no significant heating of the terminals. The number of strands of wire is very small (no numbers here), so don't twist the ends when installing them. I've increased the size of all my connections and I certainly don't regret…

Pros
  • Tools and equipment
