📞 Enhanced GE 28021EE2 Digital 5.8 GHz Cordless Phone Set with Dual Handsets and Call Waiting Caller ID Review

Bought in May 2016 as a present for my mother. None works yet. Both indicate a low battery level, despite being plugged in and left on the charger most of the time.

The GE cordless phone system works very well. The sound is very clear. Sometimes there is a slight echo, but other than that I'm happy with the sound and quality of the phones.

I was happy to replace my old phones with exact copies at a huge price (not the latest model). The originals lasted over 10 years and still work. Replaced due to non-working LED screen.

Disadvantages: Either I have roommates who keep forgetting to put their cell phone back in the holder, or the battery life decreases noticeably after a year of use. Pros: Works great, good range, lots of features. speakerphone? Relax. intercom? It might be convenient. room surveillance? It's amazing when the baby comes.

My assessment of the durability of the product may be unfair as I think lightning may have struck the phones causing the charger to fail/ Base .I wanted to buy these because I had the same ones and had batteries that were too good to start over with another set. Also, I haven't had any negative experiences with the old ones, so it was really nice to be able to order new ones! I like the features and good quality with no interference between this and other electronics. I would buy them again.

What I like best about the phone is that there is a jack for the headset so the person doesn't have to hold the phone to their ear which I need because I have spondylosis in my neck which makes my left hand becomes numb when using the phone. Another feature of this phone is that it works for a long time. The last phone of the same model I bought was in 2007 and it lasted ten years and would have lasted even longer if I hadn't dropped it in the toilet.
