GE 35364 Cassette Recorder Silver Review

I have used this recorder for business for a number of years. I mostly record notes on it like a full size cassette because it has better sound quality than microcassettes and can play sound on my home stereo. For standard voice recording, the mic works well and the sound quality is decent, never had an issue with extra distortion. For the price - I'm quite happy with that aspect. The problem with this tape recorder is that there is too much tape motor noise when recording; especially at high microphone settings. A low mic setting will result in no noise being heard either; although the belt motor noise is reduced. It can record church concerts, although it's not that good at recording distant voices. It drains the batteries if you use it for about 45 minutes 5 days a week. As for the voting buttons; no one ever said how to put them in; not even Revain.com will tell me…

I recently bought a second unit. I am very satisfied with the performance of the 3-5364B cassette player. What I like about this recorder is that it supports full size cassettes to play on the car cassette player. This is good if you are weird like me and want to read for yourself and listen to your homemade audiobook in the car while driving. I also use it to record my phone messages before deleting them because I might like the sound of her voice and because future kids might want to know…
