Bought this to replace a worn out fork on a Kitchen Aide mixer and am very happy with it. Best of all, the connector securely locks the three-wire cable in two different places, making it a more secure and durable replacement than others I've used. Bulky and large, it's not a streamlined decor piece, but it's great for kitchen appliances and small power tools. I bought a second one to have on hand as a spare. Very good guide; requires basic hand tools and takes less than 15 minutes to replace.

I bought one of these and another brand to compare how easy they are to use. This is a winder. You can't see it in the picture but there are two screws holding things together. It is also important to follow the instructions. They might seem daunting at first, but once you get the hang of them, you'll see how useful they are. I just bought a few more.
