Half broken lightbulb

When I received the lightbulb, I found a half broken lightbulb. I thought it was a shipping error when I realized it was only glass, no metal parts. Just a broken piece of glass from a lightbulb.

Bright white light: Halogen bulbs

I love clear white light and these bulbs do the trick. Reducing the power does not affect the brightness. I bought these to replace the same lightbulb I had been using for quite some time before it failed. I will continue to buy this lamp as long as it is available.

Waste of money: Halogen lamps

After heating, it lost contact with the base and turned off. Upon closer inspection, I could see a tiny arc between the base and the mount when I gave it a little shake. The bulb is still fine as is the light fixture which worked great when I replaced the halogen bulb with a regular incandescent bulb.
