Misleading photo does not represent the actual product

The photo is misleading. The coiled cord does not connect to the base of the phone. Don't buy this phone. It has only one cord that plugs into an RJ11 jack on the wall.

Pros
  • Finally bought it

  • Some cons

This phone is junk!

I bought this phone as one of my emergency devices in case of a power outage. But I was terribly disappointed. The call will take a few minutes to process. Press hard to dial a number, often it doesn't work at all. I replaced it with a slim ATT phone and I can tell a significant difference just by the beep. Pros
  • Handsfree

  • Very expensive

If there's a modern, old-fashioned phone, it's this one. It's heavy, well made and durable. I like it so much I have two. Although it is primarily a wall phone, it can also be used on a desk. However, it sticks better to the wall. There is one continuous cord from the receiver body to the outlet. The last part of the cable (towards the receiver) is twisted. The sound quality, both speaking and listening, is very good. Speech sounds are very clear. I never hear any interference caused by the…

Pros
  • Not cheap, but decent
Cons
  • Nothing

This telephone has its advantages and disadvantages. On the plus side, the sound is very clear. The volume is adjustable, with low, medium, and high settings. In addition, the ringer volume can be adjusted with the settings "Off", "Low" and "Medium". (The specs say the last setting is high, but I'd say it's average.) However, the phone cord runs straight from the phone jack to the handset, and that creates a problem. Most phones have a cord from the jack to the base and another coiled cord from
