Great incandescent bulb replacement

I recently purchased a replacement incandescent bulb for my home and found the GE Lighting 63007 to be a great option. As a result of my tests, I determined that this bulb is energy efficient and provides the same level of brightness as a traditional bulb. One of the two bulbs does not work

If it were possible I would give the bulb 2 1/2 stars because only one of the two works. The packaging is intact, there is no sound when shaking the bulb, but you just do not shine in the same lamp in which the other bulb from the packaging works perfectly. I bought to replace a light bulb that was included in a wall light I bought and use for reading; It has a built in dimmer and the 'working' bulb can actually be dimmed.

Smooth transition from incandescent lamps

Like many, I was afraid of the transition from incandescent lamps. But GE's halogen version of the Reveal is pretty good. I've long admired the Reveal range for its more natural lighting and the updated product maintains that appeal.
