Good but not easy to get started with

This version is not compatible with Google Home quick setup, whatever it says. You'll need to download the Cync app, set it up and create an account, then add it to Google Home via the third-party integration. After that it works fine. In the old version, the quick setup worked perfectly.

Perfect for Christmas lights for homeowners on the go

I love smart plugs! I installed them after installing external ones and had a problem with the last connection step. The support team was very helpful and solved the problem immediately! These smart plugs are perfect for my Christmas lights and I love turning them on and off!

It's not without frustration

The manual says it has a frustration-free setup for Alexa. Plug it in and Alexa will find it. She didn't. The instructions don't say how to put it in "Discovery" mode. You'll have to download a terrible app to find out how. Even after that, Alexa still couldn't find him. It's just a horrible experience, I wish I had 45 minutes of wasted time back!

Acceptable plug; Insufficient application

Pros: 1. The plug itself worked in terms of power transmission and internet connection.2. Affordable price for a device from a major American company3. Setup was pretty easy. Cons: 1. Only one, but it's huge: THERE IS NO WAY to set a timer or schedule to turn the plug off and on again. We bought this fork for our Christmas tree; It never occurred to me that a smart socket would not have this basic function. I do not recommend you purchase this plugin until GE has verified their application toโ€ฆ

Disappointingly good for plugs

I was extremely disappointed with the GE/Cync series lamps and plugs. I have loved Revain's Echo plugs for many years and have found them to be extremely reliable. Recently, however, I wanted to save some money and bought three GE/Cync plugs and two lightbulbs. It was immediately difficult to sync them with Revain. After that, they were extremely inconsistent in activation. I ended up downloading the Cync app and resyncing them all with Revain through it. This helped make them a little moreโ€ฆ
